” My name is Brandon and I am a prisoner in CA serving 25 years. .. Please send my any information or material you have for free… I just started to find Christ.”

“I am Oglala Lakota Sioux incarcerated in a CA prison… I am looking for a pen-pal program, just a loyal honest pen-pal to correspond with during these last few years of my sentence.”

” Please send any Native American Christian materials you have.  Thank you.”

This is a sample of the people we are ministering to in the prison system.  Each person, both men and women, receives Lesson 1 of Walking the New Path, the Warriors for Christ discipleship program and then Kim Long, the coordinator of the Prison ministry, sends personalized correspondence.  You are a part of this ministry through your gifts and if you want to be further involved, you can personally write handwritten letters.  These letters are so appreciated by the Native prisoners.

DISCIPLESHIP CENTER

One of our Native supporters, thank you Roger,  in memory of his daughter who was killed (she was a corrections officer), has given a very special gift to complete the discipleship center.  Can you come by some weekend to help us finish this project up?? This will be a place where we can have group teaching, and fellowship.

As with all projects there are a lot of hidden costs. If you would like to give a special gift to help complete the Discipleship Center , here is a list of additions:

  • $ 100. – Floor paint
  • $ 120. – Interior paint
  • $60. – 2  Oil heaters (to supplement wood stove)
  • $140. – Ceiling fan
  •   $150. – Lighting

We also received funds to replace the DSLR camera, so we can now continue to take pictures for our video production.  Take a look at the Warriors for Christ YouTube channel.  Check out the playlist, Walking the New Path. It’s our discipleship course on video and subscribe for updates, so you get notified of the new videos.  These videos can be used for  individual training, and for home and church discipleship training. Partner with us for these special ministry needs spring and summer:

  • $550. – We just purchased new tires for the vehicle we use for all our ministry trips.  This was a necessity because the old tires were literally falling apart. We had to put this on a 6 month interest-free loan, and need to retire this ASAP.  PLEASE Help us with a special gift.
