“It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.”
Galatians 5:1
This Fourth of July let us remember those who have given their life for the cause of Freedom! It is a pow-wow tradition to have the our veterans head up the grand entry, and to have the elders remind us of the courage of the nation’s warriors- like the Navajo Code Talkers (see picture above). Let each of us remember those who gave us and defended our Freedom
The greatest sacrifice that a warrior can give is to give his own life for the freedom of others. This is what Jesus Christ did for each of us! This Fourth of July let each of us not forget the sacrifice made for us. We can make their lives count by giving back our lives – to have a life in service to our fellow man, by being a “Warrior for Christ.”
“Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
Matthew 9:37-38
