Father-Creator's Word

“Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world
to save sinners-- of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in
me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for
those who would believe on him and receive eternal life. Now to the King eternal, immortal,
invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen."
1 Timothy 1:15-17

Seed Planting

Every tiny seed contains the creation of God!

The natural seeds of this world contain the whole plant or the whole tree. Every word (seed) from our Father Creator contains great power for change.

The Bible is a wonderful box of seeds given to us from Father Creator through His Great Spirit. Every word has power as we share it.

Ministering to others is seed planting. One seed at a time, but knowing with faith that each seed planted can lead eventually grow and expand and produce a likeness of the Father Creator. All life reflects His presence, His power, and His Love. Even when we share a little of His Word it is a powerful seed and grow into New Life!

Native News

  • Tribal POINT Housing Partnership to close
One casualty of the unexpected closing of Capital One Financial Corp.'s wholesale mortgage company in the wake of the subprime mortgage crisis is its American Indian mortgage program, Tribal POINT Housing Partnership. A source at the tribal unit of GreenPoint Mortgage confirmed that Tribal POINT has stopped funding loans on tribal homelands and will close along with the entire wholesale unit of GreenPoint, which is owned by Capital One. According to GreenPoint's Web site, Tribal POINT closed loans to American Indians on trust land through three separate programs: T-POINT Plus, a private mortgage; the Department of Housing and Urban Development's section 184 guaranteed Indian mortgage; and the Rural Housing Service's loans.

  • Thousands gather in Washington for National Powwow
The National Museum of the American Indian National Powwow came to Washington Aug. 10 - 12, drawing tens of thousands of spectators and participants to the air-conditioned Verizon Center during a weekend of relentless heat. It was still plenty warm for the dancers as they stepped through Grass dances, Traditional dances, Jingle Dress and Fancy Shawl dances, and the less familiar but captivating Haudenosaunee Smoke Dance, a modern variation on the War Dance of the Iroquois Confederacy.

  • 'Prez on the Rez' connects tribal leaders, presidential candidates
History was made when the Morongo Band of Mission Indians hosted the first-ever ''Prez on the Rez'' forum Aug. 23. The event provided a platform for Democratic Party presidential candidates to tell about 300 tribal leaders and guests how they will perpetuate the Native agenda, if elected. In turn, select tribal leaders asked candidates questions on some hot-button issues. Mark Trahant, Shoshone-Bannock and editor of the editorial page at the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, served as the event's moderator. The historic event took place at the Morongo Event Center and was held in conjunction with the Indigenous Democratic Network (INDN's List) Campaign Camp, Aug. 20 - 25.

Walking the New Path
(Lesson 4, Part 3)

Below is an excerpt of the Warriors for Christ discipleship course. Each newsletter we add a new section. Visit our first newsletters on the homepage or email us if you want previous lessons.

2. CONVICTS US OF OUR SINFUL NATURE: Satan tries to blind man’s eyes to the sins we are in. (2 Cor. 4:4) It is the Holy Spirit that opens our eyes (convicts us) of our need to repent. He shows us that we have sin in our life and need to be purified through our faith in Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit will also warn us when we are tempted. If we sin, He will show us that we need to ask forgiveness from Father –Creator, then get up and continue down Christ’s path to a victorious life.

John 16:8 - "When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment:"

1 Thessalonians 1:5 - "Because our gospel came to you not simply with words, but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and with deep conviction…"

3. GIVES US COMFORT: The Holy Spirit also gives us comfort in the middle of a trial (a problem we are facing). His Spirit can give us inner peace and harmony as we read and claim His Word. As we pray, he guides us and comforts us. The Holy Spirit can bring to our mind comfort and direction through the Word we have read.

John 14:16-17 - "And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever – the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you".
