Praise the Lord! We have heard of several attempts, but so far they have not been succesful. Many are reaching out to the Lord for help. Contacting brothers and sisters in Christ in order to have prayer support during trying times. We see God's hand moving on the reservation and genuinely thank you for your continued prayer that the spirit of suicide will completely leave this reservation, and that those who are contemplating suicide will turn to the Lord. Here is my request: Though I love a man by the name of Kirk very very much and we were engaged to be married, I broke it off three times because he has not truly given Jesus total control of his life. He believes the Bible and that Jesus is the son of God, but he also believes that whatever spiritual path a person chooses will lead to God. He himself was raised in a very legalistic atmosphere with the 7th-day Adventist church and school until age 18. (He is now 43.) In his teens, a friend introduced him to the writings of Paramahansa Yogananda, the Self-Realization Fellowship, and Kriya Yoga. I already know that the Lord has answered my prayers concerning him; it's just a matter of time to see the manifestation.
